Runtime errors are computer errors most often caused by system conflicts between system programs and other currently running software applications. They can also be caused by software issues, memory problems or viruses. Usually, a runtime error will cause your system to noticeably slow down just before a message box appears showing the code and definitions associated with the error.
[SOLUTION] • To simply fix this issue download:
www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555
[PROBLEM] SAMP crashes on load:
SA-MP 0.3.7
Exception at Address: 0x00534134
[SOLUTION] • Rename your ''Grand Theft Auto San Andreas'' folder into something new for example ''Grand Theft Auto San Andreas2“. After doing that, right click on your SAMP icon, attributes and change the start up folder's name to the newly edited ones.
[PROBLEM] NSIS Error:
If you get the NSIS error while installing software on your computer, then the software has failed the integrity check, and is either corrupt or damaged. A virus on you computer may have corrupted the file.
[SOLUTION] • Just simply disable your Anti-Virus, and re-download the client and install it. You shouldn't receive this error anymore.
[PROBLEM] GTA_SA Has stopped working:
[SOLUTION] • Open the search option on your computer and type in *.set If it founds something, then delete it.
[PROBLEM] GTA_SA.exe has encountered a problem:
This error usually comes on Windows XP, sometimes due to improper installation of any new mod or sometimes due to corruption of files and hence GTA's version information gets lost.
[SOLUTION] • Right click gta_sa.exe, click properties, click the Compatibilty tab, choose Windows 98, click apply then done.
[PROBLEM] The color scheme has been changed:
A theme is a combination of pictures, colors, and sounds on your computer. It includes a desktop background, a screen saver, a window border color, and a sound scheme. Some themes might also include desktop icons and mouse pointers.
[SOLUTION] • You can choose an Aero theme to personalize your computer, the Windows 7 Basic theme if your computer is performing slowly, or a High Contrast theme to make the items on your screen easier to see. Click a theme to apply it to your desktop.
[PROBLEM] Program Compatibility Assistant:
PCA (Program Compatibility Assistant) detects known compatibility issues in older programs. After you have run an older program in this version of Windows.
[SOLUTION] • Just simply Go to your directory and right-click SAMP.exe and go to the compatibility tab and uncheck the "Run this program in compatability mode for:" option, and doing the same for GTA_SA.exe or copy the entire folder of your GTA SA and paste it to your desktop, re-locate the folder in your SAMP GUI.
[PROBLEM] SAMP an exception occurred: (crash)
SA-MP 0.3.7
Exception at Address: 00x5334131
[SOLUTION] • This crash is usually caused by game modifications. Install GTA to a new directory, to ensure nothing of the old mods are left behind and that all files are clean . SA-MP should work fine afterwards.
[PROBLEM] The game crashes when a vehicle explodes:
[SOLUTION] • There are 2 ways to solve this:
- Set your Visual FX quality to low. (Esc > Options > Display Setup > Advanced)
- Rename your GTA San Andreas folder (e.g. to "GTA San Andreas2") (This often works, however sometimes it may stop working again so you need to rename it to something else.)
[PROBLEM] Can't see any servers in SA-MP browser:
[SOLUTION] • First off, ensure you are following the procedures set out in the Quick-start guide. If you have followed what it says, and still cannot see any servers, you must allow SA:MP access through your firewall. Unfortunately, due to the large amount of available firewall software, I cannot offer further support on this - I suggest looking at the manufacturers website or trying a Google search. Also make sure you have the latest SA:MP version!
[PROBLEM] SA:MP (banned bug)
Well this problem occurs rarely ie when you try to connect to Any server it says
"Your are banned from this server" even if you are not.
[SOLUTION]
- Re-set your modem/router (just power off/on) to get new/fresh IP address (most easy way)
- Try port forwarding
- Try (temporarily) disabling the firewall on the router, or if possible, removing yourself from the firewall (again, temporarily)
- Try a different router if possible (This was the only way to fix this for me, and you describe the exact same problem as I had.
-Try adding an exception for SAMP/GTA on your firewall.
Goodluck and enjoy! :D
